- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY, anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Requirements Contract for Traffic Control Painting to include the Cantonment Area and Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield, for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Drum, NY. Place of Performance: All painting and re-painting of traffic control lines, warnings, and guides will be performed at Fort Drum, NY 13602. General Information: The Government intends to award a single Contract for painting and re-painting of traffic control lines, warnings, and guides in support of the DPW located in Fort Drum, NY. This requirement is 100% restricted to Small Business firms. All other offerors are ineligible to provide proposals. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, appliances and supervision necessary to perform all operations in connection with the painting and re-painting of traffic control lines, warnings, and guides within the cantonment area and perform all operations in connection with the painting and re-painting of air traffic control lines, warnings, and guides within Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield subject to the terms and conditions of the contract, providing related work as specified, at Fort Drum, NY. The anticipated basic ordering period is May 2012 through April 2013 with Base + Two (2) One-Year Option Periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237310, Construction, Painting and Striping, size standard $33.5 Million. The Government anticipates the total estimated cost of this Requirements Contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for the base ordering period and each exercised optional ordering period. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 Days after publication of this notice. Site Visit Information: The IFB will include site-visit information, to include date, time, and location. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation.
