- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GENERAL SERVICE ADMINISTRATION - GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE-FSS The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA786-12-R-0088 for the following. CLIN# 0001 2012 NCA Cemetery Director Intern Program Mentor/Protégé Coaching The period of performance will be from date of award through 9/30/2012, with three (3) 1-year options, if exercised, which will extend the period of performance to 9/30/2015. Specific Tasks Required: "Discuss elements of a successful mentoring process "Identify the roles of mentors and protégés in the NCA mentoring process "Explore individual differences and similarities with mentors "Assess personal characteristics for being a successful protégé. Mentors will assess against mentor characteristics "Participate with mentors in the development of mentoring pairs "Examine effective dialogue and feedback techniques "Assist in the writing of an effective Individual Development Plan (IDP) that establishes learning objectives for individual growth after graduation "Project Plan for Leadership Project at Mentor cemeteries "Follow-up commitments Facilitator Requirements: "Expertise in development of Mentor/protégé relationship is required "Knowledge of NCA culture and operations is preferred Activities: "Four days on site mentor training to include protégé connection and development to take place in St. Louis, MO "Quarterly program support - Quarterly Conference calls with Mentor, protégé, Intern Program manager and upper management Additional instructions will be included in the RFP. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3)Price. Requirements are for the National Cemetery Administration National Training Center, St. Louis, MO 63129. The NAICS code is 611430. No telephone requests will be accepted.
