- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a One Time buy of Yosemite WSR88D software upgrade with One Year Annual Maintenance Support included. There will be 4 (four) option years for Systems Maintenance Support for Yosemite WSR88D for 2 (two) engineering units. Marta Systems, Inc, Santa Paula, California, is the authorized source of this software and owner of the proprietary data required. The FAA contemplates awarding a Contract with Option Years to fulfill this requirement. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Marta Systems, Inc, Santa Paula, California, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. The determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm is necessitated and supported by the fact that Marta Systems, Inc owns the proprietary data rights associated with the software. The proprietary data rights exclusively available to Marta Systems, Inc include all manufacturing specification data required for the software upgrade for Yosemite WSR88D. This announcement is for information purposes only, not a request for proposals.
