- NSN: 4940-01-215-0985 Item Description: HEAT GUN,ELECTRIC Drawing Number: MIL-DTL-83521B Estimated Annual Quantity: 111 Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: VARIOUS DLA STOCKING LOCATIONS Delivery Schedule: 180 days with FAT testing; once waived delivery is 90 days All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. ( X ) The solicitation will be available for download on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.mil/RFP on its issue date on or about March 15, 2012. ( X ) Drawings/specifications will be available through DIBBS. ( X ) This acquisition is to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the included NSN. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5years. ( X ) While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through DIBBS. This acquisition is to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the included NSN. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5years. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at the DODSSP. The proposed contract is restricted to domestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. Accordingly, foreign sources, except Canadian sources, are not eligible for award.
