- It is anticipated that this will be a sole source requirement. This procurement is for a new contract for the first three production years of advance procurement and full rate production of the AH-64 Apache Block III (AB3) aircraft in support of the U.S. Army operations in the continental United States (CONUS) and outside continental United States (OCONUS). Anticipated contract type to be utilized is a fixed-price type with over and above provisions utilized for any unanticipated effort. AB3 is a production program consisting of the remanufacture of existing Apache Attack Helicopters, new build Apache AB3 aircraft and the associated sustainment efforts for these aircraft.
