- This announcement is a modification of a previously announced procurement action. SOLICITATION REVISION/ADDITION/CLARIFICATION: 1)The estimated price range of this acquisition is less than $25,000. 2)Quotes are due before Close of Business (COB) March 29, 2012 in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings MT 59101. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ The dates included in this announcement are approximate and may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Actual dates will be established at the time the Request For Quotations is made available. The principle components of the work include the following: 1) Work under this specification includes upgrading the heating system so that the duct heater is the primary heating system and the radiant heaters are used as backup units. The air intake for the duct heater will be extended to the floor and duct work will be extended into the shop area. Louvers will be installed in the wall between the shop and lab at floor level. The thermostat for the duct heater will be moved to standard height above the floor. The cold air intake louvers above the former lab will be closed and sealed. The carbon monoxide monitor in the shop area will be replaced; 2) the interior office in the lab area shall have the gypsum board removed and replaced. A new electric radiant ceiling panel heater will be installed to heat the office interior; 3) install ball valves on the water lines between the shop and lab to shut off water to the lab area. Insulate all bare waterlines; 4) a door closure is to be installed on the door between the cold storage area and the shop; 5) repair the leak in the compressed air system above the door connecting the shop to the cold storage area; and 5) seal the gap/joint between the asphalt drive and the concrete apron. The work is located at is located in Burleigh County within the city limits of Bismarck, North Dakota. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for viewing at www.FBO.gov on or after February 24, 2012. Quotes are tentatively due before Close of Business (COB) March 29, 2012 in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings MT 59101. The estimated price range of this acquisition is less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238220. The Small Business Size Standard is $14 million. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration.
