Description
Specifications This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA5702-12-Q-0027 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55 effective 2 Feb 12, DPN 20120130 effective 30 Jan 12, and AFAC 2012-0104 effective 4 Jan 12. This purchase is for use outside the U.S. and is unrestricted. The requirement is as follows: 0001: 2 EA RADAR TOWERS in accordance with the attached specifications to include a site specific foundation design. 0002: 1 EA SHIPPING to: Delivery Address via USPS: ATTN: John Stegall 379 ECES APO AE 09309 TMO Address via Fed Ex: FB4804 379 ELRS TMO OFFICER ATTN: John Stegall 379 ECES 437-2291 BLDG 5452 PRECISION RD AND POWER DR AL UDEID AB QA FOB Destination to Al Udeid AB, Qatar. Please include estimated delivery time in your proposal. All shipping costs and legalization of this cargo will be included in the price. Pricing should be exclusive of taxes and duties. The contractor will also be responsible for any customs clearance related issues to include any storage and processing fees this cargo accrues prior to acceptance at the delivery location. A customs duty waiver can be requested through the Contracting Officer. FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. The offeror is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the offeror and submitted with its quotation or offer. In lieu of submitting the full text of those provisions, the offeror may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its quotation or offer. However, all submitted quotations shall contain the minimum information required under this provision. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and ability to meet attached technical specifications. Paragraph (o) Warranty is added to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial (including manufacturer) warranties to the United States Government. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (Feb 2012) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
