- Description
- The Us Forest Service located on the Savannah River Site (SRS) has a requirement for herbicide application using mechanical equipment. The Savannah River Site is located approximately 10 miles east of Aiken, SC. The contractor will perform site preparation and midstory release ground broadcasts herbicide applications. Contractors must process a valid South Carolina state commercial pesticide applicators license or a license from a state with a reciprocal agreement. The resulting contract will be a single award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract with a basic period and four 1 year options. The minimum guarantee will be $10,000 and the maximum to be awarded under the resulting contract will be the maximum quantities listedin the solicitation. The size standard for this project is $7.0 Million. The solicitation will be available on this website on or about 28 Feb 2012. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday 8 March 2012 at 9:30 AM. The location and directions will be identified in the solicitation. SRS is a restricted access Government facility. A minimum of 72 hours is required to process and security badge requests for U.S, Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. All requests for access to the site for the site visit must be submitted NO LATER THAN 8:00 AM Monday 5 March 2012.
