Description

***This notice is being issued to replace the previously posted special notice or Notice of Intent to Sole Source published on FedBiz Opps on 23 January 2012 through 26 January 2012. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Atlanta, GA, VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity, intends to negotiate sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 with Symon Communications, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Symon products contain intellectual property owned solely by Symon Communications. Symon proprietary products cannot be produced or recreated through any other source. The NACIS code is 334119 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This Source Sought Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting documentation with cost and detailing their experience in providing these products, to the Contract Specialist via email at Jessica.coleman-smith@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The will consider all quote received by 3:00PM, February 28, 2012. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award. Information on CCR is available at www.ccr.gov.
