- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center hereby gives notice of intent to awaed a sole source contract to Senate Builders & Construction, 2232 Dekalb Pike, Norristown, PA, 19401-2030 as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-(b), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of detrmining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Senate Construction will provide the following: CLIN 0001: All labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, and reports required to remove all drywall that has been determined to be contaminated with mold, clean the HVAC supply & return & coils in the roof top units, clean existing items that are/were in Chapel (curtains,pews,organ,table and any other items that are in the chapel). Install a vapor barrier between the masonry wall & the studs in the commercial areas. Contractor will install Mold Resists Drywall. Contractor shall abide by all Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines when performing this project. Final responses to this will be due on 1:00PM, Daylight Saving Time (DST), on Tuesday 28 February 2012. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable & will not be accepted in response to this notice.
