- Item #1 Hoedad Tree Planting (Est. 14,500 Trees): The objective of this contract item is to secure services for hoedad tree planting of Government-furnished tree seedlings. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, except those designated as Government-furnished, and incidentals, to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. Item #2 Hand Release (Est. 66 Acres) and Item #3 Release by Chainsaw (Est. 34 Acres): The objective of these contract items is to secure services for the removal of specified undesirable vegetation and excess trees that are competing with conifer seedlings and saplings in existing plantations. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, except those designated as Government-furnished, and incidentals, to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. NOTE: The solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or around 03/05/2012.
