- The Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to issue a modification to existing purchase order N00406-09-D-9012, awarded to Olympic College, on 01 September 2009, using Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 “ a sole source acquisition under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The proposed modification is to provide additional quantities to CLIN 2002AC, Apprentice Program Tuition/Fees, Spring Quarter 2012. Olympic College is the only responsible source that can fulfill the additional requirements without causing potential costly delays to the apprentice program ™s scheduling. The original contract was synopsized in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). This is not a request for competitive proposals.
