- THE DATES INCLUDED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ARE APPROXIMATE AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGES AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION. THE ACTUAL DATES WILL BE ESTABLISHED AT THE TIME THE BID DOCUMENT IS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AT www.FBO.gov orAT Http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/solicitationdetail.jsp. PLEASE, READ THE ENTIRE SYNOPSIS FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to repair the concrete at Sugar Loaf Dam Outlet Works iin Colorado. The principal components of the work to be performed under this project include: 1) Rehabilitation of the existing stop logs with new seals; 2) dewater the stilling basin; 3) saw cut around dmaged concrete; 4) remove damaged concrete; and, 5) furnish and replace concrete. Sugar Loaf Dam is east of the Continental Divide on the Lake Fork of the Arkansas River In Lake County, approximately 5 miles west of Leadville, Colorado. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110. The Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 million. The range of the project is $250,000 to $500,000. This procurement is issued full and open competition, sealed bid, under FAR Part 14. Sealed Bids will be accepted from responsive and responsible contractors. The electronic copy of the solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around February 24, 2012.. Sealed Bids are anticipated to be due on or around April 5, 2012. An organized site visit is anticipated to be offered to all prospective bidders. The information about the site visit date, time and location will be included in the FOREWORD page of the electronic solicitation. Prospective contractors shall have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award of any Federal Government contracts.
