- The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit for the refurbishment of T-44C cabin interior components with the same form, fit function and color type interior as used by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor shall pick up the following items/components for each T-44 interior cabin requiring refurbishment: (1) one pilot seat; (1) one co-pilot seat; (1) one observer seat (2) two passenger seats; all sidewall upholstery panels; all (honeycomb) service panels; all (honeycomb) headliner panels; all carpet, and (1) one glare shield. The contractor shall pick up all components for each T-44C interior cabin to be refurbished from FRCSE, hangar 140, and shall deliver the refurbished components to the same location within 60 days after receipt of order. The contractor shall deliver components requiring Government replacement, due to material conditions found that prevent accomplishment of work, within 60 days after receipt of replaced components. The synopsized procurement is for a base year and two one-year option periods. The requirement is for approximately 8 aircraft during the base period, 3 aircraft during option period one, and 2 aircraft during option period two. The period of performance will be 14 May 2012 “ 13 May 2013 for the first year. FOB Destination. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type. This requirement will be a 100% Small Business Set-aside and is identified under NAICS Code 336413 with the small business size standard of 1000 employees. The complete statement of work and technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the RFQ is on or about 1 March 2012 and will close 30 days thereafter. The RFQ will be made available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (www.neco.navy.mil) web sites. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instruction.
