Description
Expressions of Interest Sought Requirement : The United States Government is seeking 85-90 surface parking spaces in Battle Creek, MI. The garage, surface lot or ramp should be within close proximity of the Battle Creek Federal Center located at 74 N Washington Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49037. The lease term requirement is for 5 years, 1 year firm. The parking must be available for occupancy by May 1, 2012. The delineated area is within the following boundaries: Champion Street to the North, Michigan Avenue to the South, Tompkins Street to the East and Cass Street to the West. Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the above address by 5:00 PM CST on February 29, 2012, and must include the following information: Building name and address of parking site. Date of parking space availability. Amount of parking available on-site and the monthly cost per vehicle. Indicate whether the monthly rate includes taxes. Offered parking space must meet Government requirements for Handicapped Accessibility and lighting (if applicable). Building ownership information. Parking structure features and level of security (ie access card, roving security, camera monitored, cashier onsite, etc.). Lot must be paved and serviceable. The federal government is seeking parking space for federal employees and 24/7 access is required for the garage, surface lot or ramp. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space. The General Services Administration will not be using a tenant broker to represent the Government in parking lease negotiations.
