- This announcement is not a request for proposals. The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office intends to issue a sole source contract with the HSQ Technology of Hayward, CA to modify some functions of our SCADA system and provide long term technical support for this same system. The Bureau of Reclamation is upgrading and improving several functions on our HSQ Technology supplied SCADA system to incorporate better time stamping, more efficient use of our security and SCADA system network, and make it possible to read a new temperature recorder. With the limited personnel and expertise on this system the government has maintained a technical support services contract with HSQ throughout the life of the system and has utilized HSQ for all past major modifications and upgrades to the system. Because of this they are uniquely qualified to provide the modifications and support currently required. The purpose of this contract is to continue utilizing HSQ Technology's technical support expertise with our system in order to maintain the high degree of reliability currently required on the SCADA system.
