- Detailed description of process for buying surplus toner cartridges from Department of Commerce. Attached is a sources sought document for the sale of 550 toner cartridges in inventory. Models include those manufactured by Hewlett Packard, Brother, Canon, Xerox, Dell, RICOH, Panasonic, NEC, Sharp, and hp-compatibles. While some toner cartridges have passed the stamped expiration date, they are all unused. DOC has a complete inventory, available upon request, that reflects the manufacturer, model number, quantity and expiration dates of each toner cartridge. A copy of the inventory will be made available upon email request to GoGreen@doc.gov effective at 10 a.m. eastern standard time on March 1, 2012. All monetary proposals must be received by 5 p.m. eastern standard time on March 9, 2012 via email to GoGreen@doc.gov. All proposals must provide contact information including name, address, phone number and email address. Inventory must be picked up at the perspective bidders expense during weekday hours of 9 am to 3 pm, no later than March 23, 2012.
