- Description
- The U. S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Gunners Displays. This requirement is for 3000 Gunners Displays in support of the M119A2 Howitzer Program and address obsolescence in the M777A2 Howitzer to KVH Industries Inc. 50 Enterprise Center, Middletown, RI on a sole source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A), currently being staffed, addresses unacceptable delays to the Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii).
