- Item Description: NSN ITEM NAME UI QFD CAGE & P/N GOVT REQ DELIVERY 1095-01-568-8897 Knife, Combat EA 549 (041N2) 5300SBK (4U6F9) 2538DR 30 : Description: This indefinite quantity contract (IQC) solicitation is for the procurement of a code and part numbered item supplied by two different manufacturers. The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for small business. The solicitation will allow offerors to provide a separate unit price for the base year and each option year. Offerors are given the opportunity to submit pricing based on quantity break ranges. Based on market research this item is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR Part 12. Item will be shipped to various locations within conus. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 08 March 2012. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available.. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.
