- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION: Department of Homeland's Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) located in Buildings 939 (320 Dekalb Court), 940 (322 Dekalb Court) and 941 (322 Dekalb Court), Anniston, AL 36201(formerly Fort McClellan, AL site). This is notice for intent for the General Services Administration to solicit space for the Department of Homeland's Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, AL from the current lessor. The Government will negotiate a lease contract at the existing location and consider an alternate space if economically advantageous. This is due to the economic benefit of cost avoidance of relocation costs for personal property and telecommunications equipment, tenant improvement costs not expected to be recovered through full and open competition and impact of disruption to lessee. The Government will negotiate with the current lessor to lease for the Department of Homeland Security approximately 65,839 ANSI BOMA square feet of office, dormitories, training, storage and related space for the Department of Homeland Security. Space must be "as is" in move in condition. REQUIRED: CDP does not require services, repairs, utilities or supplies as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy: The space is required on or before June 1, 2012. TERM: The lease term will be for 10 years/5 years firm.
