- This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. The VA Palo Alto Health Care System has a need to hire an Architectural/Engineering firm to provide a Master Plan and Feasibility Report regarding the potential for future use of the Menlo Park campus, its relation to the Palo Alto facility, and impact of services provided. The VA Menlo Park division (MPD) is located at 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025. This site is 7 miles away from the main hospital campus in Palo Alto and provides Long Term Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation Services. The Menlo Park division operates approximately 1.1M square feet of building space on a 95 acre campus. At this point in the procurement process the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine if the procurement will be set-aside for one of the following Socio-economic categories; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)); Woman-Owned Small Business or Small Business under NACIS code 541310. Interested firms fitting one or more of these Socio-economic categories should send their information by E-mail to andrea.baker4@va.gov or by fax to 916-923-4554 no later than 4:30 PM Pacific Time March 7, 2012. Information shall include type of socio-economic category (e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business etc.) firm's full address and DUNS number and, a brief (no more than 1 page) listing of projects/experience with facility master planning and feasibility projects. All information received will be used in determining if a set-aside procedure will be utilized. NOTE: Interested firms shall have a working office located within 100 miles of the VA Palo Alto facility.
