- The Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia currently has a requirement for the acquisition of Exhibit Lighting for the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The wall washing units are being replaced in favor of energy efficient LED fixtures. The fixtures must contain an LED light source in keeping with the 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps' (CMC) Planning Guide to utilize energy efficient technology wherever possible. This requirement consists of the materials supply necessary for the upgrade of exhibit lighting in the Hill 881 South Immersion Exhibit at the National Muesum of the Marine Corps. The delivery date will be 30 days after award. The standards will be specified in the solicitation. All terms and conditions will be included in the solicitation. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is within the next 30 days on the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS.GOV) website. A closing date for receipt of proposals will be reflected in the solicitation. This requirement will be awarded as a 100% for small business set aside; using NAICS code 334290 with a 750 employee size standard. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced website (FEDBIZOPPS.GOV) frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) and amendments, if any. Please do not call the contact listed above for questions regarding the solicitation. The solicitation will identify how questions will be addressed by the Regional Contracting Office.
