- Description
- The objective of this Contract is to provide USAID/South Sudan with a quick response mechanism to support the U.S. Government's effort to develop creative and flexible responses to needs in South Sudan, one of the highest foreign policy priorities on the continent. The Sudan Transition and Conflict Mitigation (STCM) II Program will complement and enhance the rest of the USAID/South Sudan portfolio by supporting the government and people of South Sudan by promoting stability in communities vulnerable to conflict through the implementation of small grants. The Contractor will provide and support, through offices in South Sudan, a team that will manage a Grants under Contract program; procure and distribute in-kind resources; conduct rolling assessments of the political situation, country context, program objectives, and monitoring and evaluation approach; and maintain and use the USAID STCM II Program Activity Database. The Contractor will coordinate closely with USG, USAID, and other donor implementing partners in South Sudan. STCM II is designed to respond quickly to changing events on the ground in South Sudan and will require great flexibility in implementation.
