- Sole Source THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for three (3) each Distributed Range Safety Display System (DRSD) keyset panels to support the expansion of the 1ROPS organic Mission Rules Verification System (MRVS) training console, in order to meet training requirements. Panels must be compatible with the existing DRSD software. Additionally, the key-switch panels must satisfy the following requirements: Control panel must be 19" rack mount and 2 rack units (RU) high; Panel must contain 36 SB6432 RGB programmable (E3 Keys) push-button switches; Push-button switches must be arranged in a 3 row by 12 column matrix evenly distributed on the left 75% of the panel; Panel must contain a megatron 822, 3 axis joystick on the right 25% of the panel; Panel must be powered via 120V; Flash memory must be permanently disabled; Panel shall interface to host computer via RS232 interface; Panel must be compatible with DRSD software interfaces. Required delivery date is 1 July 2012. This is a Sole Source with I/O Universal Technologies, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. I/O Universal Technologies, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement These panels support the Missile Flight Control Officer (MFCO) familiarization/training system platform utilized by the 1ROPS. The panels were developed specifically for the DRSD system. These are special use items that control the input/output to the DRSD systems that was initially developed under the Space Lift Range Systems (SLRS) contract F04701-01-C-0001, ITT Corp. These ancillary units are being procured for a training system that must be identical (redundant) to the existing system. The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335313. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCBA has determined that I/O Universal Technologies, Inc is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
