Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item being procured in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicitation number P12PS22298 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This requirement is a 100% total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238220. The small business size standard is $14 million. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF STATEMENT OF WORK The purpose of this solicitation is to enter into a Preventive Maintenance Service Agreement between a vendor and the William Howard Taft NHS. A preventative maintenance service is a series of planned tasks, including those recommended by each equipment manufacturer, designed to minimize wear related failures. Frequency of tasks will be periodically updated based on routine operating inspections, annual and multi-year maintenance, analysis of normal wear, experience and any change in the site's operating needs. Quotes are due at 3:00 PM EDT, March 8, 2012. Offers may be submitted by fax or email. Questions regarding this solicitation will only be accepted until 12:00 PM EDT, March 5, 2012.
