- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office, Fort Benning, Georgia intends to award Sole Source a contract to the National Infantry Foundation, 1775 Legacy Way, Columbus, Georgia 31903 for Facility Operating Services for the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center (NIM-SC). The NIM-SC is owned-operated by the National Infantry Foundation (NIF), a not-for-profit organization. The NIM-SC is comprised of three contiguous areas: Foundation-exclusive space (34,168 sf); Army-exclusive space (62,968 sf) and Common Area (88,857 sf) which benefits both the Army and the Foundation. This contract will only cover the Facility Operating Services for NIM-SC Army-exclusive space and the pro rata share of the Common Area. The existing contract, W911SF-10-C-0002, expires June 30, 2012. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) contract consisting of a base year and four option years for cost pass-through of Facility Operating Services attributable to the operation of the NIM-SC based on actual costs with substantiating documentation. The anticipated award date is no later than June 30, 2012. Interested persons may identify their challenge to this sole source acquisition in writing no later than 2:00 P.M.
