- Description
- An MRBM Industry Day event is being planned for 5 and 6 March 2012, beginning at 8:30 a.m. central time. The event will be held in Huntsville, AL., at Redstone Arsenal, in the Von Braun II Building, address: 5222 Martin Rd, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. All Industry Day registration requests must be submitted via e-mail to the MRBM Targets mailbox at: MRBMTargetsProcurement@mda.mil. Attendance is limited to three per company for the duration of event (different individuals can attend the general and one-on-one session). A Visit Authorization Request (VAR) is required by 24 February 2012 for all proposed attendees in accordance with the instructions in the posted "Visit Access Request (VAR)" document. Read the VAR instructions carefully. Individuals without pre-existing VARs on file with MDA will not be allowed access and verbal or telephone requests will not be accepted. The morning general session on the 5th will include an overview briefing and discussion of acquisition requirements. Lunch will be available for purchase in the Von Braun III cafeteria. The Government intends to conduct focused one-on-one sessions after 2:00 on the 5th and continue one-on-one sessions beginning at 9:00 on the 6th. One-on-one sessions will be of limited duration and are intended for focused discussions directly related to the Draft RFP and contractor feedback to the Government questions provided with the Draft RFP cover letter. Registration for the one-on-one sessions is on a first come/first served basis as described in the Draft RFP cover letter, has been extended to 3:00 p.m. central time on 24 February 2012, but will close prior if capacity has been reached. The duration of the MRBM Industry Day event will be classified, therefore anyone attending any portion of the event must have a security clearance to at least the Secret level on file with MDA. The Government intends to provide responses to industry questions as soon as possible AFTER the Industry Day event. Government responses to unclassified questions will be posted to FedBizOpps and responses to classified questions will be delivered upon request via certified mail, FedEx, or can be picked up by certified courier. Unclassified and classified questions must be provided separately in the posted "Industry Comment Matrix" format. To ensure the Government can finalize the Final RFP to meet acquisition timelines, all Industry questions related to the Draft RFP must be submitted by 9 March 2012.
