- Description
- The Erie VA Medical Center is seeking qualified SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business and HubZone contractors to perform design services for a Boiler Plant Replacement at the Erie VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania. The contract will be procured in accordance with the Brooks AE Act. A-E services will be required for site investigation, the development of all Space Programs, Load and Boiler Sizing Calculations, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration Services, Technical Specifications, and Cost Estimates. The project consists of the necessary alterations and/or new construction for the replacement of the Boiler Plant located in Building 7 of the Erie VAMC. The A/E shall provide a cost benefit analysis and recommendations for either the construction of a new boiler plant facility or the replacement of the existing boilers solely without construction of a new facility. The design shall take into consideration the critical continuous supply of steam to the hospital facility which includes process steam for sterilization of instruments and building heating and hot water processing. Successful offeror is required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and professional A-E services necessary to complete the entire project and submission requirements. Potential A-E replying must provide proof that they completed at least two (2) similar projects. The North American Industry Classification System 541310 is being used for this sources sought notice.
