Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY for the purpose of conducting Market Research. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. For information purposes, a summary Scope of Work is included as a part of this posting. The Vicksburg District Contracting Office is soliciting Capability and/or Product Statements from all qualified and interested firms for the purpose of making appropriate acquisition decisions with regard to set-aside and/or small business participation, which may result in solicitation for award of one or more Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), contracts for a period of up to five (5) years. SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District has a requirement to supply & install pipe-liners to rehabilitate existing gravity drainage structures by slip-lining existing corrugated pipes. Pipes to be lined range in size from 24-inches to 60-inches in diameter and vary in lengths from 20 feet up to 275 feet. The pipe liners shall be fabricated to have a smooth interior and exterior surface with no corrugations, designed to rehabilitate "fully deteriorated pipe". The overall hydraulic cross-section shall be maintained as large as possible. Liners shall have a minimum of the full flow capacity of the original pipe before rehabilitation. The installation locations are within the Vicksburg District drainage basins located in the States of Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit Capability and/or Product Statements consisting of appropriate technical information, documentation, literature, brochures, and past performance references. Respondents must include references and a capability statement for at least two completed or current projects, for which your firm was the prime contractor (or a major subcontractor) within the last three years of work similar in size, scope and complexity. Each reference shall include contact names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, contract numbers as well as a description of the services provided, contract type (i.e., fixed price or cost), and dollar value. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing or developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material the contractor feels may further demonstrate their capability may also be submitted with the Capabilities Statement. Submission of a Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Vicksburg Contracting Office in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the Government's analysis of capabilities. Electronic submissions via email will be accepted. Facsimile submissions will not be accepted.
