- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting offers for the emergency Towing, Drydocking and Controllable Pitch Propeller Repairs to the seagoing buoy tender SYCAMORE. The vessel is homeported in Cordova, AK. This is an unrestricted procurement, and the place of performance is limited to Southeast Alaska, Washington State and the Columbia river system (to Portland). Following are a list of Definite and Optional Items in the package: Definite: D-001 Propulsion Shaft Bearings (External), Check Clearances D-003 Controllable Pitch Propeller Hub Flange Bolts, Remove and Reinstall D-004 Drydocking D-005 Temporary Services, Provide D-006 Towing Services, Provide D-00B GFP Report Optional O-00A Composite Manhour Rate O-00Z Lay Day Rate O-002 Controllable Pitch Propeller Hub, Remove and Reinstall Period of Performance will be as follows: Performance will commence no later than 3/2/12 (towing), but may be earlier. Work shall complete no later than 3/23/12 (excepting if Hub Removal, O-002 is exercised). Proposals must include 6 days from drydocking through undocking, inclusive.
