- The Combined Synopsis and Solicitation The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, using FAR Part 12 and 15 procedures, a firm-fixed-price requirements contract to fulfill its requirements for Advanced Functions Textbooks. The period of performance will be one base year (27 April 2012-26 April 2013 with five, twelve month option periods. The Solicitation Number is HE125420120060086 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This action incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55 2 February 2012. The submission due date and time is 22 March 12, 3:00 PM (EST) but see Attachment 3 for other submission deadlines. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, an education activity, tax exempt, and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. PSC Code: 7610, Books and Pamphlets NAICS Code: 511130, Book Publishers. Size Standard: 500 employees. No information concerning this solicitation or requests for clarification will be provided in response to telephone calls. No inquiries will be considered if received more than seven (7) calendar days after the release of this notice.
