- NASA/LARC has a requirement for National Instruments Hardware for the LinerTechnology Facility to include: NIPXI-4496 24 BIT SIGMA DELTA ADCs, Qty: Three(3) EA; andInfiniband to BNC Cables, AI0-7 and AI8-15,0.2m for 449x, Qty: Three(3) EA.NASA/LARC intends to purchase the items from National Instruments. This hardware is tosupport acoustic research performed at LaRC Liner Technology Facility. NI is the soleproprietary for the PXI-4496 Sigma Delta which is compatible with the custom developedsoftware and data acquisition system already in use at the LTF.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 02/29/2012.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
