- The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for lodging and conference support services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned for this potential procurement is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) and motels. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. In support of an upcoming course, the Government seeks facilities capable of accommodating a block of 35 suites in the Washington, DC metro area from 9-13 April 2012. The suites should have a separate work space. The facility should also be capable of accommodating a Welcome Reception for up to 50 attendees on 11 April 2012 and Dinner for up to 50 attendees on 12 April The preferred location would be near or adjacent to a major shopping area, touring area, metro location and close to CHDS (or no further than ten (10) miles), which is located on Fort McNair in southwest Washington, DC. Submission Instructions: Interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 28 February 2012 at 2:00PM EST. Responses should include the following information: company/organization name, address, email address, web site address, telephone number, and size/type of ownership for the organization. Please do not submit any pricing information, brochures, or any other attachments. Please also note that this is not a request for an Event Planner. Responses from Event Planners will not be considered. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Janet. D'Angelo@dsca.mil.
