- J&A for Other Than Full and Open Competition This is a contract modification to Contract N00033-06-D-6504. This requirements contract was awarded under full and open competition in February 2006 to Systems Research and Applications Corporation (SRA) for Information Technology (IT) Afloat Support Services. The services required by this modification are for the MSC Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems (C4S) directorate (N6). A sole source modification is consistent with the terms identified within this announcement upon the basis of the authority provided in 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(2) and implemented by FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This notice is being posted because the option, under FAR 52.217-8, was not previously evaluated as part of the initial contract award. This option exercise will be at the current rates specified in the contract, as allowed by FAR 52.217-8, and will extend performance for a period not to exceed six months, beginning on 14 February 2012. The contract maximum will be increased by $14,633,736.72. This option exercise will further allow for solicitation, evaluation and award of a competitive follow-on procurement.
