- IQC12033009079, this solicitation will contain 1 NSN (3110-01-495-4777) for a BEARING, BALL, AIRFRAME. This solicitation will be solicited for award of an indefinite quantity contract. This item is manufactured to a "Source Controlled Drawing." Approved Sources: SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORP (Cage 78286) 38950-00901, REV F, P/N: 38950-00901-101and TIMKEN SUPER PRECISION (Cage 40920) P/N 38950-00901-101. This is being procured as other than full and open competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Note 22 applies -Sole source (FAR 6.302-1) Unrestricted procurement The FOB point is Destination. Inspection and Acceptance is Source. The required delivery for is 197 days ARO. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for a one-year period with the option to extend the term of the contract up to four (4) one-year periods. The estimated annual quantity is 240 per contact period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 60 each (base year only) and an annual maximum quantity of 480 each. The minimum delivery order is 60 each and the maximum delivery order quantity is 240 each. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 8 MAR 12 (anticipated closing date of 9 APR 12), anticipated award date is FEB 2012. Reference notes 22, 23 and 26.
