Description

VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion, Indiana has awarded a sole source contract on February 21, 2012 to Havel Brothers, a Division of Shambaugh and Son, LLP, to furnish and install DDC controls between a leased mobile boiler room, the boiler plant and to the building management system. The current controls have proprietary engineering software and the monitoring system also has propietary software. Integrating the fourth boiler into the system requires knowledge of all the proprietary information and Havel Brother has that knowledge. The award is $142,990.00.
