- US Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (Western), Rocky Mountain Region, intends to negotiate with and award a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), on a sole source basis to Subnet Solutions Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for EnterpriseSERVER.NET extended annual support and software updates (annual renewal) for Western?s Rocky Mountain & Desert Southwest Regions. The existing High Availability EnterpriseSERVER.NET software application from SUBNET Solutions Inc. is a COTS application that offers a centralized and fully integrated Intelligent Electronic Device and asset management solution that incorporates a secure NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection remote access management solution. Applicable NAICS code is 511210, small business size standard is $25 million. This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability to accommodate this requirement by e-mailing the Contracting Officer at aanderson@wapa.gov no later than 4:00 PM Central Time, February 26, 2012. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement at Western?s sole discretion. Draft single source justification is attached. This notice in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Western is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this Notice.
