Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Network 21, Network Contract Office will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for Project 654-336, Correct Seismic Deficiencies of Building 1A, at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System located at 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV. Project will be a complete gut and renovate with work from all major trades. It is anticipated an RFP will be released on or about May 1, 2012. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. and, bonding capacity. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number; Maximum bonding capability for a single bid and; total maximum bonding capacity. Information shall be sent to Rusty.Stevenson@va.gov by close of business March 16, 2012. Estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220.
