- The US Forest Service contemplates posting the solicitation AG-0116-S-12-0025 Craig Point Pre-commercial Thinning on the Federal Business Opportunity website on or about March 7, 2012. We reserve the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The purpose and intent of this contract is to secure services for pre-commercial thinning of approximately 297 acres of conifer reproduction, approximately 20 to 35 years old. The Contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, housing, subsistence, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items listed as Government-furnished property. OBTAINING A SOLICITATION. Prospective bidders are expected to obtain the solicitation from the Internet. REGISTRATIONS. In order to receive any contract award, a vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
