Prior to contract expiration in September 2011, a 6-month task order was issued with the intent to award a competitive contract in early 2012. The purpose of this notice is to inform industry of our intent to extend the contract by 6 months and award a new 6-month task order on a sole source basis. The task order provides EAC AGI Analyst Services for 4-6 months until completion of the full and open competition for a replacement contract. Any interested party must provide EAC AGI Analysts with a minimum clearance of TOP SECRET; those positions require a SCI to provide services at government facilities in the European Command (EUCOM)/Africa Command (AFRICOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). A lapse in service would jeopardize the mission. The government intends to award a short-term follow-on contract consisting of a 4-month mobilization period and a 12-month base period. The Government estimates that the time required for full and open competition for the short-term follow-on contract will be 4-6 months. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. A follow-on competitive action is in process.
