- Description
- The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to enter into sole source negotiations with AUDAVI Corporation, San Jose, CA, for the purchase of up to 36 E-2C Removeable Media Loaders (ERML) via an Indefinate Delivery Indefinate Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price contract. ERML was developed utilizing proprietary information that facilitiates information transfer from the mission computers of the E-2C aircraft to other systems. The Government does not own the technical drawings, specifications and data rights for this system to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 6.302-1. ASTI is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
