- Description
- This is a Synopsis Notice for Custodial and Grounds Maintenance Services at Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, Mississippi. The procuring contracting office is NAVFAC Southeast, Bldg. 903, P.O. Box 30, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL 32212. The point of contact is Rebecca Bond, Contract Specialist, 904 542-8816; or Laura Hohbach, Contracting Officer, 904 542-3639. This solicitation number will be N69450-12-R-7586. This acquisition will result in a competitively negotiated Combination Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) contract using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15. The contract term will be a base period of one year and four one year option periods, for a total contract performance period not to exceed five years. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services clause. This acquisition is for Custodial and Grounds Maintenance Services at NCBC Gulfport, MS. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The services include but are not limited to: Custodial and Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping and other related services. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210 and the annual small business size standard is $35.5M dollars. This contract will replace a contract, N69450-07-D-0762, awarded in 2007 for similar services. Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The anticipated date of Request for Proposal (RFP) issuance is on or about 1 March 2012. The RFP will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.2, Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources. The Government will only accept offers from SDVOSB concerns. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
