- Performance Work Statement Updated 2/6/12 SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) The United States Air Force, 88th Air Base Wing, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking potential sources to provide all labor, management, and supervision of contractor staff and reports required to provide the services of the Radiation Therapy Physicist listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Performance will be located at Wright-Patterson Medical Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. To view the full requirements of this project please view the attached PWS Word document. The Air Force anticipates eventually conducting a competitive acquisition for this award. Firms responding should indicate whether they are, or are not, a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, or a woman owned business. The general definition of a small business is one that is independently owned and operated, is not dominant in the field of operation in which it is proposing on Air Force contracts and with its affiliates; and that fits under the size regulations set by the NAICS code of the project. NAICS Code to be used for this acquisition is 621512 with small business standards of $13.5 million per year. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this synopsis as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose. Capabilities package: All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities and specifications related to this effort and attached PWS. Suggested areas to address include but are not limited to: An action plan to address the Service Summary Performance Objectives (Section 2 of the PWS), previous history supporting similar efforts, and any concerns or suggestions to improve the draft PWS. A staffing plan is also required to address how the potential Contracor will be capable of offering flexibility in the expertise required in the PWS. The staffing plan should detail how the potential Contractor is capable of staffing based on changing requirements and MTF Workload Estimates as describe in 1.7.9 of the PWS.
