- Solicitation Number: W911S1-12-B-0003 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY FOR 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, SDV SMALL BUSINESS AND HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL FOR AN UPCOMING JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOC) INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT TO BE PERFORMED AT CENTERS LOCATED IN PA; NJ; CT; AND NY. Responses are due no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern standard time 27 February 2012. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential qualified contractors before determining the method of acquisition. Please note that it is required that your company be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR), please see www.ccr.gov for additional information. In addition, this sources sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, nor will the government pay for any information solicited or delivered. Responses are to be sent via email to Emelda.long.civ@mail.mil. Email responses are required. Responses should include the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, Fax, email and DUNS number and CAGE Code of the firm and/or any joint venture firm; (2) A list of no more than five, Job Order Contract (JOC), or other SABER type construction contracts your firm/joint venture currently holds or has completed with the last three years. For each relevant and recent contract listed, include the firm/joint venture point of contact name, contract number, location(s), description, yearly and total values, performance dates, and contracting officer or contract administrator point of contact information, including address, phone and fax numbers, (3) A statement identifying the interested firm/joint venture's bonding capacity. Limit your responses to five pages. PLEASE NOTE: At this time, we are only interested in responses from prime contractors with similiar project experience with the ability to have a bonding capability of $1M per year. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish the job. Individual jobs will vary in size between $2,000 to $1M. The contract will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks as identified and based on the prices of the latest R.S. Means Master Cost Data and applied coefficient. The jobs will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, abestos abatement, demolition, environmental clean-up, concrete masonry, and welding (this is not an all inclusive list). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220; the Size Standard is $31,500,000. The final determination regarding set-aside type and geographical region restriction will be made by the Contracting Officer. The contract will be for a base and two option years valued at $3M.
