- NSN: 1377-01-358-7175 Quantity: 227 Each NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS RESTRICTED. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT “.00014 LBS. EXPLOSIVE CLASS “ 2.2S PRODUCTION LOT TESTING AND FIRST ARTICLE TESTING, CONTRACTOR DATA REQUIREMENT LIST AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB. A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR VIEWING WEB BASED DRAWINGS. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". NOTE: This is an electronically formatted solicitation, available only on the Navy Web page at http://www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies of the solicitation are not available from the Navy. Certain computer programs may be required to view the solicitation and/or submit electronic offers. Do not send requests for the solicitation to the buyer. The solicitation will be available only on the web page on or about Feb 28, 2012. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specification and Standards, Qualified Products Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DoDSSP) in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil/. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the document directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DoDSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after establishing a DoDSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures by phoning the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 422-2179). Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at DoDSSP. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government ™s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
