- AF/CVAR Advisory & Assistance Services This is a Sources Sought synopsis for market research purposes only, this is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This sources sought is being published to identify potential small business sources capable of providing advisory and assistance support services to the Air Force Quadrennial Defense Review Office (AF/CVAR). The AF/CVAR is responsible for delineating a national defense strategy consistent with the most recent National Security Strategy by defining force structure, modernization plans, and a budget plan allowing the military to successfully execute the full range of missions within that strategy. The advisory and assistance support services will include research, analysis, integration, long-range planning, policy development, system integration and analysis, documentation updating, and consulting support relative to the AF/CVAR organization and mission. The North Americal Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541611, Strategic Planning Consulting Services. The small business size standard is $7.0M. Please see the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the description of services to be provided. The requirement will require non-personal services to be conducted in Arlington, VA, Pentagon. Interested parties are requested to submit a statement of capability outlining past work/experience that is related to this requirement as stated in the PWS. The statement of capability shall include the following: 1. Company Name, DUNS #, company business size (large or small) in relation to the NAICS code. Note: The Government is interested in all small businesses that are interested in performing this pending requirement. The government request interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e.) annual revenues and employee size, business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business etc). 2. Name, title, telephone number, and e-mail addressess of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the response. 3. Statements of Capability. Electronic submission only. Limit your response to five (5) type written 8 ½ X ll inches pages, 12 font Micro-soft Word document. PLEASE do not attach company brochures, marketing pamphlets etc. Clearly describe the relevant experience required by the PWS only. Do not provide resumes of individuals. 4. Statement of capability containing the above information shall be submitted via email to diane.bradley.ctr@afncr.af.mil with subject tile "Response to AF/CVAR RFI FA7014-11-R-1011. Each submission should be virus scanned prior to being sent. No telephone calls.
