- U.S Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Meggitt Defense Systems Inc, 9801 Muirlands Blvd., Irvine, CA 92618, for fifteen (15) Motor/Mount Assembly P/N 0401791 and twenty-five (25) Track Weldment P/N 040194-1. The proposed action is for items that are exclusively manufactured by Meggitt Defense Systems and they retain all the data rights. The Government does not own the drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item, or equal, are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice is not a request for quotes, however, the Government will consider all quotes received by the specified due date, in accordance with FAR 5.203(a). A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely at the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Code is 336413; the Business Size is 1000 employees. DFARs clause 252.211-7003, Item Identification and Valuation applies.
