Description

The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center Houston, TX has a requirement for painting the Interior of the MEDVAMC Domicilliary Located at 7329 Fannin St. Houston, Tx. 77030 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR 15 as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA256-12-R-0520 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-52. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238320 with a small business size standard of $14.0. This opportunity is available only to contractors under public law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Additionally, this acquisition will be awarded in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable process and a best value award is expected to result from the selection of the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated cost. The solicitation will start on February 14, 2012 and will end on February 21, 2012 @ 2:00pm Central Standard Time. A Firm-Fixed Price contract award is anticipated.
