- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following services: 1) Calibrate and operate their Surface Target Vector Scorer (STCS) system for testing. This requirement is sole sourced to Meggitt Defense Systems Inc., 9801 Muirlands Boulevard, Irvine, California 92618 as the only vendor able to provide these services. The STVS system is a one of a kind system built by Meggitt Defense Systems Inc. and contains proprietary software. At this time Meggitt personnel are the only personnel qualified to calibrate and operate the system. Any firms believing that they can provide the services for the government owned STCS system noted above, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than the date posted on this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the services without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
