- Coverletter RFQP03121200008 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, Florida, Contracting Office, intends to obtain the requirements for Food Service Items for our facility. This solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a request for quote for evaluation. The contract period shall consist of the third quarter of fiscal year 2012 (April-June). Deliveries will be made to 110 Raby Ave, Pensacola, FL 32509 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The contract type is a Firm-fixed price. Kosher items offered on this bid must be certified by a nationally accepted Orthodox Jewish Certification Agency. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose offer(s) conform to the solicitation and are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: past performance, price comparison with other offers, and administrative cost. Price will be rated higher than past performance. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. If you fail to meet the attached delivery schedule or attempt to provide an item that does not meet the specification it will be notes as a performance issue and your bid for the next quarter will not be considered. The solicitation will be made available solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of quotations is on Friday, February 24, 2012, 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE LINE ITEM DESCRIPTIONS MAY CAUSE THE QUOTE TO BE DISQUALIFIED. Awards under the $30,000.00 threshold will be placed on the Government Purchase Card.
